Getting Error in sales order total

Postby bmadmin on Thu Nov 16, 2006 9:44 am

THIS PROBLEM HAS NOW BEEN FIXED IN BATCH MASTER PRO so please upgrade!

This can happen if the system is registered for tax and any products that you are ordering through Sales order have not had their tax rates updated. From the Sales order screen simply double-click each product transaction line and check that a tax rate has been added, this may be 0 or a positive value but cannot be left blank! (if you need to add or amend a tax rate then double-click the tax rate box). Save and close. You may need to reselect the product item from the Sales order screen and re-enter the quanitity for this to become active. This will eliminate the error message and you can proceed with the sales order.

Please note if you have switched tax on in Reference and not entered any rate then this will also cause the error to occur. Ensure the Tax rate box here has a value.

Please note that in any one sales order you can only have products that have tax rates that are all the same or 0, mixed tax rates (other than 0) are not allowed.
