Wasting product in Stock Adjustments

Please note in order to Waste all or part of a product batch:

Once in the Stock Adjustments screen choose Decrease (previously Waste) in the top box then use the drop down list to select the batch of product you want to waste. Enter the quanitity to waste and give/enter a reason. All you need to do now is press Save/Close and the product will be wasted after 1 day, you can still adjust it up to this point if necessary.

Red Waste button:

Please ONLY press this button if you want the system to search for products that will expire in however many days are showing (usually 30). Please note if you press this button any transaction lines that appear will automatically go into waste after 1 day unless you DELETE them. You can adjust the number of days to search over if required, just edit the amount of days showing.

To DELETE any transaction lines you don't want to waste:

Highlight the transaction lines to delete by pressing each record box to the far left of the product transaction line and press the DELETE key, please note this is NOT the backspace key. Or you can go to the Edit menu above and find Delete Record option (transaction lines must be highlighted first). Pressing/selecting either of these will bring up a message asking if you want to confirm deleting, say yes to confirm!
