Food Hospital - Alcohol

Alcoholic beverages can generally be broken down into three varieties: beers, wines and spirits. All of these contain a type of alcohol called ethanol that causes the effects of drunkenness by reducing the attention and slowing your reaction speed.

Alcohol is a psychoactive drug with depressant effects and can be addictive. Excessive consumption can damage health, leading to liver problems, reduced fertility, heart attacks and certain cancers.
